Portfolio & Client Work
Real websites and software for real businesses around the Red River Valley. Built fast, built to last, and built to do a job.
Ben's Farm
Client Type: RV, Boat & Vehicle Storage
Location: Thompson, North Dakota
What It Needed: Full disclosure: this one's mine. My own storage operation needed a real website, online payments, and a way to track who's paid without a spreadsheet.
What I Built: A fast marketing site with Stripe payments, plus a visual facility map that shows every spot color-coded by payment status. That map grew into BayRoster, the storage management software I now sell.
Result: The site fills the lot every fall, payments reconcile themselves, and the software runs the business day to day.

Svoboda Sanitation Service
Client Type: Garbage & Cleanup Hauler
Location: Johnstown, North Dakota
What They Needed: A family trash-hauling operation with no website, paper billing, and routes tracked from memory.
What I Built: A complete site with online bill pay (Stripe) and service-request forms, plus HaulerHQ: a back-office tracker for customers, routes, driver sheets, and an append-only payment ledger.
Result: Site is built, with launch in final prep as of summer 2026. The software is real enough that I now offer it to other haulers as HaulerHQ.

Sibyl Center
Client Type: Live Music & Arts Venue
Location: Stanley, North Dakota
What They Needed: A twelve-show 2026 season to promote, sitting on a WordPress site that was slow and a chore to keep current.
What I Built: A fast static site with the whole season (schedule, performers, photo gallery) driven from one events file, so updating a show updates every page. Every old WordPress link still lands somewhere useful.
Result: Launched for the 2026 season. The homepage surfaces the next show automatically, and the pages load instantly on rural connections.

Dakota Pallets
Client Type: Pallet Manufacturer & Recycler
Location: Cavalier, North Dakota
What They Needed: A family-run pallet shop with no real web presence, selling new, reconditioned, recycled, and custom pallets plus pickup, delivery, and firewood, with no easy way for buyers to reach them.
What I Built: A fast semi-static PHP site with product-and-service pages, a recycling-and-pickup section, yard and shop photos, and a request-a-quote contact form.
Result: A straightforward site that lays out exactly what they build and recycle, and gives regional customers one clear way to ask for pallets.

ToolGrit
Client Type: Trade Calculator Web App
Industry: Skilled Trades & Contractors
What They Needed: A fast, no-nonsense place for tradespeople to run field math from a phone on the job, with no app to install and no login.
What I Built: A searchable library of hundreds of trade calculators across dozens of trades, covering electrical runs, shop feeds, grain handling, and more. Mobile-first and free, built to load fast in the field.
Result: A practical set of tools contractors and tradespeople can pull up and trust before the next cut, pull, pour, or load.

From Grand Forks to Devils Lake, Grafton to Crookston. I work with farms, contractors, and small businesses who value straightforward service and reliable results.
No Cookie-Cutter Templates
Every site is built for the specific business. I don't slap your logo on a template and call it done. I build sites that work for your customers and your goals.
Built to Last
These aren't sites that break in six months. They're built with clean code, minimal dependencies, and a focus on long-term reliability.
