💡 About Free Test Sites

Free test sites are available for semi-static sites only. WordPress requires significantly more setup time, so I can't offer free test builds for those projects.

If you're interested in WordPress, I'll work with you on mockups and wireframes during our consultation to make sure we're on the same page before starting development.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's a "starting at" price mean?

It covers a typical 5-7 page website with a standard set of features. The final price depends on the number of pages and any special features you need. I'll give you a firm quote before we start.

Are there monthly fees?

The website build is a one-time fee. The only recurring cost is for hosting and maintenance: $30/month for semi-static sites, or $75/month for WordPress sites (which require more maintenance). I bill annually to keep things simple. This covers security, backups, and server costs.

How can you offer free test sites?

I've become very efficient at rapid prototyping using multiple AI workflows and tools working together. This lets me build quality test sites quickly without eating up weeks of time.

Can I update the site myself?

For semi-static sites, I can set up a simple config file for you to change things like your phone number. For bigger changes, I can do them for you at my hourly rate. For WordPress sites, yes, you'll be able to edit content yourself.

What's the process?

We'll have a quick chat about what you need. I'll give you a quote. If you approve, I'll build a draft. We'll review it, make any tweaks, and then I'll launch it and handle the hosting.

Why semi-static instead of WordPress for everything?

Semi-static sites are faster, more secure, and need less maintenance. For most small businesses, they're perfect. I only recommend WordPress when you actually need the extra features.
